John at the Palace!
CK21 Ltd Director John Nielsen received, out of the blue, an invitation to attend a reception at Buckingham Palace with the King and various others to recognise the contributions of small businesses to the economy of the UK.
What a great event, entrance through the front, via the main courtyard, and up into the staterooms with about 200 other prople where the King, Prince Edward et al walked and talked among us. Great honour to be there and chat to others from the construction industry but also interesting to hear from some really diverse firms.
As can be seen it was a touch wet on the night but, yes, that is me in a suit and tie for the first time in over 20 years I think!
