CDM and Health & Safety
At CK21 we have extensive and strong experience in providing the Principal Designer role along with Health and Safety & CDM advice. As part of this service we also undertake a client advisor role reviewing the Principal Contractor’s duties under CDM along with site inspections for this and/or health and safety site inspections if requested. We have always believed in fully integrated involvement in projects for the Principal Designer (and previously the CDM Coordinator). This includes attending design and site meetings, offering advice to all the client, the designer team and contractors on specific Health and Safety issues.
We have undertaken training for numerous designers, contractors and clients in relation to CDM, even assisting in developing some Principal Contractor’s Construction Phase Plans and client specific policies in relation to contractors working on their sites, working with lead etc.
